Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL) is a premiere Research Laboratory under DRDO, Ministry of Defence. As part of internship scheme introduced by Government of India, DLRL is offering internships in the following Disciplines for the students who are going to the final year B.E/B.Tech in the academic year 2026-2027:

Interested candidates may submit the application in the prescribed Proforma along with referral/sponsorship letter from respective college. The terms & conditions are as under:

Terms & Conditions:

1. The students who are going to the final year B.E/B.Tech. in the academic year 2026-2027 can apply for the internship.
2. Students with backlogs are not eligible.
3. The duration of paid internship is for six months starting from 1^st July 2026 tentatively.
4. Stipend of total Rs. 30,000 will be paid in two installments (Rs. 15,000 after completion of 3 months and Rs 15,000 after completion of 6 months). Subject to attendance of minimum 15 days in a month.
5. Other expenditure such as lodging, boarding, transport, medical etc., if any will be borne by the individual concerned during the course of internship.
6. Students who do not complete the 6 months internship will not be awarded the internship certificate.
7. Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment in DRDO.
8. The Number of vacancies are tentative, if suitable candidate not available in one discipline, the vacancy/vacancies will be adjusted in other discipline(s).
9. Selected candidates will be intimated through mail along with terms & conditions and guidelines of internship.
10. After selection to the internship, the candidate is required to obtain police verification certificate and submit at the time of joining.
11. Selected Students have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Principal on college Letter head mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship at DLRL, Hyderabad and that the student will be present for a minimum 15 working days in a month.

Selection Process:

1. The selection will be based on merit i.e based on cumulative marks percentage / CGPA obtained up to 3^rd year 1^st Semester & interview / interaction, if required.
2. If two candidates obtain same percentage of marks then DoB will be considered for the selection and the candidate elder in age will be given preference.
3. Selected Students will only be notified about the joining procedures through the mail ID mentioned in the application form. No communication will be undertaken with unselected students.

1. Candidates shall apply for internship in the prescribed form only. The Application form can also be downloaded from: https://drdo.gov.in/drdo/en/offerings/vacancies
2. List of enclosures to be submitted as per application form.
3. Interested students may submit duly filled in application along with the enclosures to the following address, mentioning on envelop as “Application for Paid Internship with Discipline” for which the candidate is applying :

4. Last date for receipt of applications at DLRL is 15-05-2026.
5. Incomplete, erroneous, illegible and applications received after due date will not be considered. No further communication in this regard will be entertained.
6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
