Eligibility Conditions: Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the Post of Navik (General Duty) & Yantriks in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Educational Qualification:
(a) Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
(b) Yantrik: Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or04 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
OR
Class 10th & Class 12th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Edu cation (COBSE) “AND” Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or03 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Age: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Mar 2003 to 28 Feb 2007 (both dates inclusive) applying for post of Navik (GD) and Yantrik.
Note: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non- creamy) candidates is applicable only if, posts are reserved for them.

North East – Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Orissa.

- These vacancies are tentative and may change.
- Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy)/EWS category can didates, such candidates can still apply as reserved candidate. Such candidates will not be eli gible for any age and passing marks concession/relaxation. However, SC/ST candidates will be exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Procedure: The selection of candidate is on order of merit list {Region wise for Nvk(GD) and all India for Yantrik} based on their performance in Stage I, II, III & IV (explained in detail at para 6, refer to the attached official notification at the bottom), meeting the laid down medical standards during medical examination and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage I, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG. All candidates will be compulsorily subjected to identity check prior commencement of the examination of Stage I, II, III of CGEPT.
How to Apply: Applications will be accepted ‘Online only’ from 13 Jun 24 (1100 hrs) to 03 Jul 24 (2330 hrs). Candidates are to login to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept and follow the instructions for registering themselves with E mail ID/mobile number. The candidates are to ensure validity of E mail ID and mobile number at least up to 27 Jun 25 . The candidates are to remember their registered E-mail ID and mobile number as the same would be encrypted in application form. If the candidate forgets his E-mail ID or mobile number, then he would not be able to login in candidate’s dashboard and neither would he be able to download E-admit card or see his result and ICG would not be responsible for this. No request for retrieving the registered E-mail ID or mobile number will be entertained.
