COMBINED NOTIFICATION FOR ERSTWHILE EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT

Combined Notification No.01/2026, dated: 07.04.2026 for filling up of the various Vacant Posts under the control of the Principal/ Addl. DME, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram and Superintendent, Government Teaching General Hospital, Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari District on Contract and Out Sourcing basis.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to various vacant posts under the Principal / Addl. DME, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram and Superintendent / Addl. DME, Government Teaching General Hospital, Rajamahendravaram on contract and outsourcing basis.

Application proforma will be available on https://eastgodavari.ap.gov.in/ from 10:00 am on 15.04.2026 to 04:00 pm on 29.04.2026 on all working days.

Last date for submission is 04:00 pm on 29.04.2026. Filled applications must be submitted at the specified counters in the office of the Principal / Addl. DME, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last hour rush and obtain dated acknowledgement. No applications will be accepted by post or email.

This recruitment is limited to erstwhile East Godavari District only. Candidates who studied 4th to 10th in erstwhile East Godavari District will be considered local as per Presidential Order. Others will be treated as non-local.

Counseling will be held separately for Government Medical College and Government Teaching General Hospital. Candidates must submit separate application forms for each.

The final merit list will be valid for one year from the date of this notification.

9 Child Psychologist (i)  Must possess a Degree of M.A. (Psychology) of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a central Act, provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

(ii) Must possess a P.G. Diploma in Child Psychology and Family Relations of a University recognized by University Grants Commission or a M.Ed. or B.Ed. from a recognized Institution.

(iii) Must possess a M.Phil (Psychology) of a recognized university shall be added to the prescribed qualifications in the AP Medical Education Service

10 Clinical Psychologist (i) Must possess a M.A. (Psychology) Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a central Act, provincial Act or a recognized by the university Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

(ii) Must posses a PG Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology of a recognized Institution.

(iii)Must possess a M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology / M.Phil in Clinical Psychology / M.Phil in Mental Health & Social Psychology of a recognized University shall be added to the existing qualification in the AP Medical Education Service Rules.

11 Emergency Medical Technician 1)  Must possess Intermediate or its equivalent
2)  Must possess B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology / B. Sc Emergency Medical Services Technology (EMST) from a recognized institution in India
3) Must be registered in APPMB.
4) B.Sc. with 2 years Advanced Diploma In Emergency Medical Technology(EMT) .

2. Reservations: Reservations will be given as per Rule 22 of AP State and Subordinate Services Rules, including BC, SC and ST reservations as per G.O.Ms.No.77 GAD Dept. dated 02.08.2023.

3. Educational Qualifications and Age: Candidate must have the prescribed academic, technical or professional qualification on the date of this notification. If you have equivalent qualification, attach Government order, otherwise application will be rejected.

4. Age: Upper age limit is 42 years as on date of notification (G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) Dept. dated 27.09.2021).

5. Relaxations:
a) SC/ST/BC/EWS : 5 years
b) Ex-servicemen : 3 years plus length of service
c) Differently abled : 10 years

6. Method of Selection: Total Marks : 100

  • 75% marks for aggregate in qualifying examination.
  • Up to 10 marks : 1 mark per completed year after acquiring qualification (as on date of notification).
    Up to 15% weightage for Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium service (including COVID-19) as per Government orders.
  • For COVID service less than 6 months : 0.8 mark per completed month.

Weightage for contract service (Non-COVID):

Tribal Area : 2.5 marks per 6 months
Rural Area : 2.0 marks per 6 months
Urban Area : 1.0 mark per 6 months
No weightage for service less than 6 months (Non-COVID).

Service weightage will be given only if proper service certificate in prescribed proforma issued by competent authority (DMHO/DCHS/Principal GMC/Superintendent GGH) is attached along with appointment order. Certificates taken earlier are valid. Fresh certificate needed for additional period.

7. Tenure of Appointment: The contract/outsourcing appointment is initially for one year and may be extended as per Government orders. The District Selection Committee can terminate the services at any time with one month notice.

8. Documents to be enclosed (self-attested):
a) SSC or equivalent (for date of birth)
b) Pass certificates of prescribed qualifications
c) Proof of appearance in qualifying exam (if applicable)
d) Marks memos of all years
e) Valid registration certificate from AP Para Medical Board / Allied Health Council (if applicable)
f) Study certificates from Class IV to X or Local candidature certificate
g) Latest valid Caste certificate (if not attached, treated as OC)
h) Latest EWS certificate (if applicable)
i) SADAREM disability certificate
j) Service certificate in prescribed proforma for contract/outsourcing weightage
k) Any other relevant certificates
Note: Applications without clear self-attested documents will be summarily rejected.

9. Important Conditions:
a) Selected candidate must stay at the bonafide Headquarters.
b) Must follow all Government rules.
c) Keep checking the District official website for updates.

10. Debarment: If any candidate gives false information or suppresses facts, his/her candidature will be rejected and he/she will be debarred from future recruitments.

11. Department’s Decision Final: The decision of the District Selection Committee on all matters is final.
Applications should be submitted only in offline mode (physical form). Applications sent by post, courier or mail will not be accepted.

Submission of application by post, by Courier or mails, will not be considered.
