Foreign job opportunities are being provided to the nursing students from Telangana state. A special program has been undertaken by Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) to select qualified nursing staff for jobs in Germany. The recruitment agency of the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Factories, Government of Telangana, is inviting applications. Candidates must have completed GNM/B.Sc Nursing from a recognized college in Telangana. Must be between 22 and 38 years of age.
GNM candidates should have at least three years of experience. Indian Nurse Registration Certificate will be considered as an additional qualification.
Palliative care (homecare, nursing home) Inpatient, Hospital nursing experience is required. Applicants do not need to have German language knowledge at the time of the initial interview. Those selected will be given special training in that language. Those who have secured 70 marks at A-2 level within the first six months of training will be continued. Another stage of face-to-face interview will be conducted for those who qualify. Those with B1 or B2 German certification will be considered for the fast track program. This will cover all expenses including airfare (flight ticket).
The salary will be 2,300 euros (approximately Rs. 2.20 lakhs) per month until recognition, and 2,800 euros (approximately Rs. 3 lakhs) after recognition. There will be overtime allowance along with the salary.
