Kochi Metro invites applications for the following posts.

Name of the post: Manager (Rolling Stock)
Total No. of posts: One
Grade: E4, 29100 – 54500 (IDA)
Educational Qualification & Experience: Degree in Electrical Engineering from an institute of repute with minimum 8 years’ of experience in the planning, procurement, contract management, installation, testing and commissioning of Rolling Stock in a Railway/ Metro Rail system.
Tenure On deputation/contract basis for three years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
Job Description Will be responsible for execution, supervision and monitoring of the works related to Rolling Stock.
Maximum age limit ( as on 1st January 2014): 45 years.

Name of the post: Asst. Manager (Power & Traction)
Total No. of posts: One
Grade: E2, 20,600 – 46,500 (IDA)
Educational Qualification & Experience: B. Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years’ of experience or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 6 years’ of experience in Traction systems, power distribution and substations in a Metro/ Railway System.
Tenure: On deputation/contract basis for three years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
Job Description: Will be responsible for all works relating to Power & Traction.
Maximum age limit (as on 1st January 2014): 35 years.

Name of the post: Executive
No. of posts: One
Grade: E1, 16,400 – 40,500 (IDA)
Tenure: On contract basis initially for three years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Experience: One year post qualification experience in Instrumentation.
Maximum age limit (as on 1st January 2014): 26 years.

• The filled in application form along with application fee and self-attested copies of proof of age, qualifications & experience may be send by Registered post/Speed post/courier in an envelope superscribing the name of the post applied for.
• The application fee should be paid in the form of a demand draft for Rs.250.00 drawn in favour of Kochi Metro Rail Ltd., payable at Kochi. This is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Applications shall be send to Manager (HR & Training), Kochi Metro Rail Ltd., 8th Floor, Revenue Tower, Park Avenue, Kochi – 682 011 so as to reach the office latest by 5th February, 2014.
• The application shall be forwarded to KMRL through Post/Courier service only. Applications forwarded though any other means including by fax or email will not be entertained.
