AP High Court Recruitment of District and Sessions Judge (Entry Level) – 2014

Applications are invited for appointment to 6 (six) posts of District and Sessions Judge (Entry Level) in the A.P. State Judicial Service to be made by direct recruitment in the following manner:
OC – 3 (1W)
BC-B 1 (W)
ST 2
Total – 6 (2W)

QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant for the above said post shall be,
(a) an Advocate with not less than 7 years standing at the Bar,
(b) below 45 years of age as on the first day of April, 2014 (relaxation by three years in the upper age limit in respect of persons belonging to Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes) and
(c) of sound health and active habits and free from any bodily defect or infirmity which render him/her unfit for such appointment.

RESERVATION: The Rule of Reservation as per the Rules 22 and 22-A of the A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, that apply insofar as they relate to SC, ST, BC and Women, shall apply to the appointments to be made by Direct Recruitment.

SCALE OF PAY: The selected candidates will be appointed on probation for a period of two years on an initial pay of Rs.51550/- per month with usual allowances in the Scale of Pay Rs.51550-1230-58930-1380-63070 in the Pay Scale applicable to District and Sessions Judge (Entry Level).

The applications in the Pro forma prescribed below together with a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.300/- drawn in favour of “Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad“, payable at Hyderabad (The payment of Rs.300/- is exempted to SC and ST candidates) along with testimonials and photocopies of certificates attested by a Gazetted Officer in proof of the eligibility addressed to the Chief Secretary to Government, Government of Andhra Pradesh, General Administration (SC.F) Department, Secretariat Buildings, Hyderabad – 500 022 should reach the Chief Secretary not later than 5.00 pm on 30-04-2014 with the cover superscribed as “Application for appointment to the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in the A. P.State Judicial Service”.
