ENGAGEMENT OF GRADUATE & TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICE
(Under The Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961,1973 & 2014)

Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, a premier Laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious Indian nationals for engagement of Graduate & Technician (Diploma) as under for a period of one year.

Note:
(1) For the above vacancies, reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories will be applicable as per provision of Apprentice Act 1961, Apprentice Rules, 1992 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2015.
(2) The No. of vacancies are only indicative and may change at a later stage.

Elegibility Criteria:

1. B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com candidates must have registered their names at https://www.nats.education.gov.in.Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
2. The candidates who have passed their E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree in the year 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2020 are not eligible.
3. Candidates with post graduate qualification are not eligible to apply.
4. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
5. BE/B.Tech / Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act.

How to Apply:

• Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed form given as annexure-4 A’ (form in .docx is also available at website www.drdo.gov.in). The typed application along with the self attested photocopies of documents (all educational mark sheets, Certificates (10th, 12th, Diploma, B.Tech / BBA / B.Com), Caste Certificate & Identity Proof) should reach to the “Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha-756025” on or before 07th October 2024 by Speed Post / Registered Post Only.
• The application form should be typewritten. Handwritten Application except signature will not be accepted.
• The sealed envelope containing the application form and other documents should super-scribed as
  “Application for Apprenticeship Training: Category  ………………………….. & Subject / Discipline …………..“
• All information regarding Written Test / Interview, Call letters, etc. shall be provided through website only. No hardcopy mailing of Written Test / Interview Call letters shall be done by ITR. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of Admit Card / Call Letter shall be that of the candidate.
• Candidates should keep a copy of the application for their record.
• Applicants are advised to keep a watch on the above website for any updates / changes.

Selection Criteria for Apprentice Trainee: Selection will be made on the basis Written Test / Personal Interview/ Both for shortlisted candidates only.

N.B:
1. It is mandatory to provide percentage of mark secured of essential qualification in the application form.
2. Formula (e.g CGPA X 10=Percentage) will be applied wherever percentage of mark of essential qualification is not available.

Last Date for Receipt of Application along with supporting documents at ITR, Chandipur by Speed Post / Registered Post Only: 07.10.2024.
