Applications are invited for JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) positions at one of the premier research institutions in India, the Space Physics Laboratory (SPL), Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram under the Indian Space Research Organisation

Eligibility: First Class M.Sc. Degree in Physics/Applied Physics/ Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/Space Science/ Space Physics/ Planetary Sciences/ Astronomy & Astrophysics with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA/CPI grading on a 10 point scale. Those who are slated to complete the M.Sc. course in the academic year 2013-2014 are also eligible to apply, provided final year mark list and certificate (satisfying the eligibility criteria) can be produced at the time of joining.

Age Limit: 28 years as on 18.06.2014 (Persons with Disability are eligible for age relaxation as per rules).

Applications will be received on-line only.

HOW TO APPLY: Upon on-line registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. After submission, it is mandatory for the applicant to send only the following documents:

• A confirmatory copy of the online application.
• No Objection Certificate, from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central / State Government / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies.

The applicant should not send any other documents such as copies of certificates/marklists in proof of educational qualification, work experience, age etc.The above documents should reach the following address not later than 25.06.2014.
