RECRUITMENT OF SPECIALISTS/DOMAIN EXPERTS ON CONTRACT
ADVERTISEMENT NO. 2/2013 (R&P)

ONGC, through its subsidiary ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL), is India’s biggest Transnational Corporate with overseas investment of over 10 billion USD in 16 countries. ONGC is looking for Specialists/Domain Experts on contract equivalent to E6 Level Executives in the following disciplines- Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir, Chemistry, Marine, Production & Mechanical.

1. The Financial Package to the Specialists/ Experts shall consist of–
I) Fixed Monthly Pay Package

Onshore (other than North East)	North East	Offshore
Rs.250000/-	Rs.255000/-	Rs.260000/-

II) Annual Performance Incentive

Annual performance incentive shall be payable @ 50% of notional Basic (presently Rs.51,300/-) per month based on the actual days of presence, per year. No incentive shall be payable for the period of absence from the work on leave except casual leave. Annual Performance incentive will be linked to Performance Appraisal Review (PAR) rating of the individual.
III) Other Welfare & Benefits

• Health insurance cover with a ceiling of Rs.10.00 lakhs per annum, in respect of self, spouse and 2 immediate dependents i.e. children and/or parents is permissible on reimbursable basis.
• Specialists/Experts will be entitled towards reimbursement of cell-phone bills equivalent to E6 level executives with a monthly ceiling of Rs.3000/-.
• TA/DA and boarding/lodging rules pertaining to E6 level executives shall apply while on company duty to locations other than the place of posting, travelling abroad, 14 days ON/OFF duty etc.
• Colony accommodation for E6 level executives, if available at the work-centre, may be allotted subject to the deduction of a fixed amount equivalent to 25% of notional basic.

2. Period of Engagement

• The services of Specialists/experts will be exclusive & on full time basis to ONGC/ONGC Group of Companies.
• The Specialists/ Experts will be engaged for a period of maximum four years with the provision of re-engagement for another term or date of superannuation (i.e. on attainment of 60 years whichever is earlier.
• The engagement shall end on expiry of the prescribed period and no separate notice shall be required to be given.

3. Termination of Engagement

• The services of Specialists/ Experts can be terminated by either side by giving three months’ notice.

4. HOW TO APPLY

Indian nationals fulfilling the requirements may send their application to Deputy General Manager (lE)-Recruitment, ONGC, Green Hills, Ground Floor, ‘B’ Wing, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun- 248003 on or before 13.12.2013.The filled in application can be downloaded from ONGC website. Candidates are also required to mail their filled in Application, repeat only filled in Application typed in MS Word to recruitment@ongc.co.in (Scanned/Pdf copy not required).

An amount of Rs.500/- for candidates applying against posts for Gen/OBC and 00/- for candidates applying against posts reserved for SCs/STs will be charged as application fee. Application fee is non-refundable. Application fee can be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India through challan only. The fee is to be deposited in ONGC Power Jyoti A/C Number 30827318409 of SBI, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun. No other mode of payment would be accepted. Applicants should not deposit fee through instruments like Demand Draft/ Banker Cheques/ IPO, online transfer of money into ONGC account etc. If any applicant makes payment through any such mode fee will NOT be returned/ refunded. For depositing the requisite fee, candidates should visit the website www.ongcindia.com and download the challan form available on the site.

1. 2. Any sort of canvassing or influencing the Officials related to the Recruitment V Selection process would result in immediate disqualification of the candidature. In case of any dispute, the decision of the management of ONGC will be final and binding on all candidates.
