Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the following positions under the Scheme ‘Quick Recruitment of Scientists (Fellows) for Major Research Projects‘ from eligible Indian Nationals possessing an outstanding academic record and a high degree of motivation and propose to take up research in Earth Science as a career:

Scientist (Fellow) (20 positions) – Disciplines: Geophysics/Geochemistry/Chemistry/Geology/Applied Mathematics/Physics/Mechanical Engg./Civil Engg./Electronics/ Instrumentation Engg.

Qualifications: For Range-1: Rs. 31000/32550/34100/35650/ 37200 – Ph.D. in Science or Engg.(or) M.Tech./ME (Engg.); Age: Below 40 years (Desirable below 30 years) and for Range – 2 : Rs. 36000/37800/39600/41400/43200 – Ph.D. in Science or Engineering (or) M.Tech./ME (Engg.) with three years research experience; Age: Below 40 years (Desirable below 35 years).
