National Brain Research Center (NBRC), Manesar, is the apex coordinating body for research in Neuroscience with the objective of undertaking basic research towards understanding brain structure and function in health and disease. NBRC would like to recruit suitable persons under a joint project between NBRC, Manesar and AIIMS, New Delhi for the following project position (s) which will be co-terminus with the project:

1. Name of the post: Associate Professor (Project)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100/- Grade pay Rs. 7,600/-
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. / M.D. with at least five years experience in related field of research.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in interpreting clinical MEG and/or MEG-EEG studies will be preferred. The candidate may also be a physician with PhD, preferably in research involving EEG / MEG.

2. Name of the post: Assistant Professor (Project)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100/- Grade pay Rs. 6,600/-
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. / M.D. with at least two years experience in the field of molecular biology.
Desirable Qualifications: High impact publications in the area of molecular biology and demonstrated experience in advanced molecular biology techniques. Work experience in DNA microarray and other gene expression and sequencing techniques.

3. Name of the post: Research Associate – I (Project)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000 + HRA (in lieu of hostel accommodation) as applicable
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D.
Desirable Qualifications: Have worked with patients especially epilepsy, must be meticulous about data saving and keeping and in statistics and paper writing skills.

4. Name of the post: Nursing Orderly (Project)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200/- Grade pay Rs. 1,800/-
Essential Qualifications: 10th standard pass.
Desirable Qualifications: At least 01 year experience at a Hospital / Nursing Home etc.

5. Name of the post: Casualty Medical Officer (Project)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100/- Grade pay Rs. 6,600/-
Essential Qualifications: MBBS with at least 03 years experience or MD which should cover administration of IV fluids, venous line establishment, intubation, CPR, emergency treatment protocols etc.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having MD / MS / PhD will be preferred. Experience in working with neurological patients and managing epilepsy.

6. Name of the post: Junior Resident (Project)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 35,000 (Consolidated) increasing by 10% each year.
Essential Qualifications: MBBS (with a valid registration with MCI or any equivalent council of any state)
Desirable Qualifications: 02 years experience or MBBS plus MD/ PhD/ MS

The request for obtaining blank application form from NBRC should be accompanied by a demand draft for Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of Director, NBRC payable at Gurgaon along with details of the address where the application is to be sent. In addition to this, candidates have to send the requisite fee as applicable, along with the filled in application.
