BCRLI PROJECT
Kerala Forest Department – Periyar Foundation

Invites application for the following posts:
Project Period: 5 years

1. Ecologist (Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month)
Qualification: Master Degree in Environmental / Wildlife Sciences or Forestry (preference will be given to Ph.D. holders)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of field experience in the field of ecology preferably in the landscape where Participatory Forest Management is implemented.
2. Regional Planner (Remuneration:Rs.30,000/-per month)
Qualification: Master Degree in Ecology/Environmental Science (preference will be given to PhD holders)
Experience: Land use planning and GIS, experience in negotiation in resolving the conflicts among the departmental and other agencies including local people
3. Sociologist/Socio-Ecologist (Remuneration: Rs.30,000/- per month)
Qualification: Master Degree in Social Science/Social Work (preference will be given to PhD holders)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of field experience in the field of social aspects and PFM
4. Training Officer (Remuneration: Rs.30,000/- per month)
Qualification: Degree
Experience: Field knowledge of project area, participatory programmes; organizing and conducting trainings/workshops; administrative skills and experience in Kerala Forest Department
5. Training Asst. (Remuneration: Rs. 10,000/- per month)
Qualification: Degree
Experience: Field knowledge of project area; skills in participatory methods, conducting trainings/workshops, teaching experience in life science/social science
6. Accountant (Remuneration: Rs. 10,000/- per month)
Qualification: Degree
Experience: Supervisory experiences in government and experience in having handled government accounts at the level of a PWD Division or Forest Division.
7. Field Assistant (Remuneration: Rs. 8,000/- per month)
Qualification: +2 or equivalent
Experience: Field knowledge of project area
