Applications are invited for the following posts for LPSC Units located at Valiamala, Near Thiruvananthapuram and Mahendragiri, Near Nagercoil:

Note:  The number of posts indicated above are provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirement.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1)     BE/B.Tech should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65%. ME/M.Tech should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%. For Post No.592 (Medical Officer) MBBS Degree shall be in First Class. Candidates possessing Second Class Degree are also eligible to apply. However every effort will be made to recruit candidate possessing First Class Degree only.  Rounding-off of marks not allowed.
2)    The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.
3)     Age limit as on 03.11.2011 is 35 years, but relaxable by 5 years in the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.  Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Govt. of India rules. Children/family members of those who died in the riots of 1984 will be given preference in recruitment by giving necessary age relaxation as applicable.
4)     For Post No. 588 & 589, one vacancy each is for Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SDSC, SHAR, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh and the other vacancies are for LPSC, but the selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the Centres or Units of ISRO or Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.

7)     Candidates working in Central/State Govt./Public Sector undertaking/ Autonomous Organisation should apply through proper channel. In case they anticipate any delay in forwarding their applications, they may submit advance copies before the due date. They will be interviewed on production of No Objection Certificate from the respective offices.
8)     Candidates will have to produce original documents in proof of the details furnished in their application at the time of Interview for verification. Those who fail to produce the said documents will not be allowed to attend the Interview.
9)     Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare by the shortest route including reservation/sleeper charges or bus fare as the case may be.
10)   Applications received against this advertisement will be short-listed and those short listed candidates alone will be called for further selection process.
11)   No interim correspondence will be entertained.
12)   Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
13)   The Centre reserves the right not to fill-up any of the posts, if it so decides.
14)   Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
15)   Applications received without the requisite information asked for in the prescribed format and without attested true copies of all certificates in support of their claim for Educational qualifications, mark sheets/ experience certificate and the application received after due date will not be considered.
16) For Post No. 592, Candidate should attach MBBS Degree Certificate, Attempt Certificate, Mark Card, Experience certificate, Certificate of Registration with Medical Council of India etc along with the application. Incomplete applications and applications without the required documents will be summarily rejected.
17)        Applications completed in all respects should reach the SR. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, RECRUITMENT SECTION, LIQUID PROPULSION SYSTEMS CENTRE, VALIAMALA PO, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM- 695 547 on or before 03.11.2011.
