NOTIFICATION

Recruitment to the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Veterinary Graduates.

It is proposed to fill up (469) posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons under General Recruitment in the time scale of Pay of Rs. 18030-43630 in both Class “A” of Category (6) and in Class “B” of Category (4) of Andhra Pradesh Animal Husbandry Service Rules, 1996. Category (6) of Class-A Posts: 1) Zone-I – 35. 2) Zone-II – 102. 3) Zone-III – 32, 4) Zone-IV – 58, 5) Zone-V – 97, 6) Zone-VI – 137, Total 461 Posts Category (4) of Class-B Posts: 1) Zone – Nil. 2) Zone-ll – 2, 3) Zone-Ill – Nil. 4) Zone-IV -1.5) Zone-V – 2. 6) Zone-VI – 3 Total 8 Posts.

1) Class “A” of Category (6):- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry or its Equivalent Qualification from any recognized University / Institution in India or Abroad as per the Norms of Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984.
2) Class “B” of Category (4):- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry or its Equivalent Qualification from any recognized University / Institution in India or abroad with Post Graduate Degree (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Science in Microbiology / Parasitology / Epidemiology / Virology / Immunology / Pathology / Bio-Technology / Veterinary Public Health.
3) Should have completed (18) years of age as on the date of application and should not have completed (36) years of age as on 01-07-2013. In respect of candidates belonging to S.C/ S.T. the maximum age limit will be relaxed by (5) years.
4) The Candidates belonging to local Area of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon within the respective Zones in the ratio of 70:30 basis i.e. 70% Locals and 30% Non-Locals and Locals (open) quota as per the Hon’ble High Court orders issued in WPMP No 21271 of 2012 in W P No: 16560 of 2012 on 30-07-2012.
5) Printed Application forms and other details can be obtained from 24-09-2013. the office of the Director of Animal Husbandry in Person or by Post duly producing a copy of B.V.Sc., Degree Certificate / M.V.Sc., Degree Certificate and a photograph of the candidate
6) The filled in applications shall be submitted to the office of the Director of Ammal Husbandry, Shantinagar, A.P., Hyderabad – 500 028 on or by 05-10-2013 by 5 00 p.m. duly superscripting “Application for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon” Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
