Desirable: For Posts OBED & SWA: Knowing Swimming.
For Electrician Gr II: Experience in maintenance of Generator of 125 KV.

Shortlisting of candidates: If large number of applications are received, applicants having more experience may be short listed for the post of OBE DRIVER and ELECTRICIAN Gr.II

Note: All the above Posts are identified not suitable for Physically Handicapped Candidates, since nature of duties involves physical work on the River Bank.

Nature of Duties: 1) OBED: Driving of Motor Launch/Out Board Engine and knowledge of repair of Boat, OB Engine. 2) ELECTRN: To carry out all types of Electrical works including maintenance of Generator of 125-KV& 40-KV. 3) SWA: To carry out any job of assistance/help nature related to hydrological meteorological observation, flood forecasting, Gauge & Discharge, silt observation, plying of boats, operation of machines, watch and ward_; gardening, office upkeep/cleaning etc.

Initial posting: The above posts are temporary but likely to continue. Present posting shall be along the River Basin of Godavari and Krishna or its tributaries located in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chattishgarh, Odisha, Kamataka and Goa States (transferable in any of the above states within unit of Godavari and within unit of Krishna respectively).
