Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a Public Sector Section 25 ‘Not-for-Profit Company’ set up by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India to promote and nurture innovation research and growth of the biotech sector. BIRAC is inviting applications from qualified, experienced and ambitious professionals for the following positions:

IG-01 – Head / Team Lead Investment – Level 4/5 (Vacancy-1)
IG-02 – Project Officer – Level 1 (Vacancy-1 Gen 1 OBC)
SS-01 – Head / Team Lead Specialized Services – Level 4 (Vacancy-1)
SS-02 – Project Manager (Intellectual Property and Technology Management) – Level 2 (Vacancy-1 OBC)
SPED-01 – Head/Team Lead Strategic Partnership and Entrepreneur Development – Level 4/5 (Vacancy-1)
SPED-02 – Entrepreneur-ship Development Manager/ Officer – Level 2/1 (Vacancy-1 Gen 1 OBC)
CA-01 – Company Secretary – Level 4/5 (Vacancy l)
CA-02 – Corporate Affairs Manager / Officer – Level 2/1 (Vacancy-1)

All positions are under a Contract of Services initially for 3 years and thereafter based on performance renewed for 4 years and then every 5 years. A very well designed Career Growth Plan has been developed which provides opportunities for career progression within bands and levels.
