Walk-in Interview

A walk-in-interview will be held at Project Directorate on Cattle, Grass Farm Road, Meerut Cantt on 2.5.2014 and 3.5.2014 at 11.00 a.m. onwards for engagement of the following positions in the S.F. Lab. & AG&B Lab of PDC, Meerut under XIIth Five Year Plan (up to March, 2017). The appointments are purely temporary on contractual basis and there will be no provision of absorption/re-employment in the PDC/ICAR after completion of XIIth Five Year Plan i.e. 31.3.2017.

Walk-in Interview on 2.5.2014 at 11. a.m. onwards

1. Position: Research Associate – 1 Post
Lab: Semen Freezing Lab., PDC, Meerut
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Animal Reproduction/ Animal Physiology/ Biotechnology; Or Master’s Degree in Animal Reproduction/Animal Physiology/ Biotechnology with first division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with two years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/Other engagement.
Desirable: Experience in working related to semen evaluation, cryopreservation, hormone analysis, spermatogonia! cell-culture. Knowledge of basic computer application viz. MS-Office etc.
Max. Age: 40 years for men and 45 years for women (relaxation in age as per ICAR norms).

2. Position: Senior Research Fellow – 1 Post
Lab: Semen Freezing Lab., PDC, Meerut
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Biotechnology / Reproduction / Microbiology / Physiology.
Desirable: Knowledge of basic computer application viz. MS-Office etc.
Max. Age: 30 years for men and 35 years for women (relaxation in age as per ICAR norms).

Walk-in Interview on 3.5.2014 at 11. a.m. onwards

1. Position: Research Associate – 1 Post
Lab: Animal Genetics & Breeding Lab., PDC, Meerut
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Animal Genetics & Breeding/Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology; Or Master’s Degree in Animal Genetics & Breeding/ Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology with first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with two years research experience as evidence from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training/ Other engagement.
Desirable: Experience of working in molecular biology/cell culture and gene expression studies.
Max. Age: 40 years for men and 45 years for women (relaxation in age as per ICAR norms)

2. Position: Senior Research Fellow – 1 Post
Lab: Animal Genetics & Breeding Lab., PDC, Meerut
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Animal Genetics & Breeding/ Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology.
Desirable: Experience of working in molecular biology.
Max. Age: 30 years for men and 35 years for women (relaxation in age as per ICAR norms).

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate letter for the interview will be issued.
