Applications are invited on a plain paper (along with copies of educational qualifications) from eligible candidates for selection of Two Project Assistants under the ongoing DBT sponsored project entitled “Identification and molecular characterization of a new virus causing severe mosaic disease in melons (Cucumis melo)“, sanctioned to Dr. Gopinath Kodetham, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Hyderabad.

| Qualifications | M. Sc/M. Tech students who have expertise in molecular biology and protein chemistry and plant molecular virology/biology. |
| Duration | Appointments are purely temporary and for a total period of 1-1/2 years. |

Short-listed candidates would be called for a personal interview at New Life Building, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Near Gopanapalle Gate, Hyderabad 500 046. Only candidates who would fit into objectives of the projects would be called for interview. Interview date will be intimated via e-mail at a later time point (Approximately First week of August). No TA/DA would be paid for attending the interview.
