ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF FACULTY POSITIONS

NIT GOA is one of the 10 new NITs setup during XI plan period and is in its fourth year. Applications are invited from individuals who would enjoy the excitement of being associated with the setting up of a “world class teaching and research Institution”. The individual should have a strong commitment for teaching and unequivocal flavor for research. The positions available are at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the regular cadre / on contract basis.

Outstanding candidates in a related field not listed explicitly herein, also may be considered for an appropriate position.

The broad disciplines in which faculty required are: Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Mathematics.

Those who have applied against earlier advertisement need not apply unless there are significant additions to their profile.

Vacancies:
1. Assistant Professors (including contract positions) – 8 Posts
2. Associate Professors – 9 Posts
3. Professors – 5 Posts

Number of vacancies may get changed upwards.

Candidates having Ph.D. degree only need to apply.
