Walk-in Interview for the post of JRF

Candidates who have passed the national written test like UGC-CSIR NET (Lectureship or JRF), BET, ICMR EXAM (JRF- PROJECT) may appear for the walk- in-interview on 22-08-2013 at 11.00 A.M. at the Institute for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled “Long-term effect of arsenic exposure on placental vasculogenesis in mice“. This project is under DBT’s Twinning programme for the North Eastern Region, Agartala Medical College, Agartala. The post is purely temporary, ad-hoc & contractual and co-terminus with the project. The details are as under:-

Post/No.:  Junior Research Fellow – (One)
Pay(Rs): Rs. 16000 + 10% HRA * Candidates without national test can also be considered for JRF (Rs. 12,000+10% HRA)
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Masters in Zoology / Biochemistry / Molecular biology / Biotechnology or equivalent degree with good academic record and should pass the National written test like UGC-CSIR NET, ICMR-JRF ,  DBT-BET, and NET Qualified for lectureship and ICMR exam qualified for the JRF project post will also be considered.
Desirable:
Experience in the field of either Reproductive, Molecular biology and animal handling
Age limit: Below 28 years. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules
Job Requirement:

• Handling of mice, dosing, autopsy, blood & tissue collection
• To carry out laboratory work related to histological, biochemical and molecular techniques
• Computation of data analysis and report writing

The candidates are to submit their detailed Bio-data along with the copies of certificates and testimonials at the time of reporting for interview. The original certificates may be submitted for verification on demand. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
