SELECTION OF PROJECT STAFF THROUGH WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Name of the Project: Project-wise Water Availability and Integrated Operation Analysis of Major Projects in Krishna Basin”.

Required Project Staff (RA/SRF/JRF) – 02

Designation & qualification: Research Associates (RA)
Doctorate (Ph.D) in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research experience after M.E./M.Tech. in the area of Water Resources/Hydrology /Agriculture / Environmental Science or related fields in data processing using computer.

Emoluments: Rs.36,000/- p.m. + HRA (as admissible)

Duration: 10 months or till termination or completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Job Requirements:
1. Field work
2. Data analysis and modeling OR
In case candidate is not found/qualified Ph.D in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent degree or having three years of research experience after M.E./T.ech in any of the above field then the post will be filled as Senior research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow having following qualification/ experience.

Designation & qualification:
Senior Reserch Fellow (SRF)
Post Graduate Degree in Professional courses (M.E./M.Tech.) in Civil/Hydrology/Water Resources/ Agriculture / Environmental Science or related field.
Experience: Two years research experience in the field of Hydrology. Duration: 10 month or till termination or completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Job Requirements:
1. Field work
2. Data analysis and modeling
Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/-+HRA (as admissible)
OR
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Graduate Degree in Professional Courses (B.E./B.Tech.) and GATE or equivalent qualification in Civil/Hydrology/Water resources/ Agriculture / Environmental Science or related field.
Duration: 10 month or till termination or completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Desirable: Having research experience in relevant field.
Job Requirements:

Note: In case a candidate is not GATE aualified then the emolument per month will Rs. 12,000/-+HRA
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/-+HRA (as admissible)

General Conditions:
1. Maximum 35 years age as on the date of interview. Higher age can be relaxed in case of candidate having exceptional qualifications and experience by the selection committee.
2. Age relaxation of SC/ ST/ OBC as per Govt. of India rules.
3. These posts are purely temporary on co-terminus basis and do not entitle the appointee to any claim implicit or explicit on any NIH post.
4 Candidates can directly attend the walk-in-interview on March 17th, 2015 at 10.30 A.M. alongwith complete bio-data, passport size photograph and original proof of qualification and experience. They must also bring with them self attested copies of their certificates.
5 No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6 Bio-data Format: Advt. No., Post applied for, Name of candidate, Father;s name, Date of birth, Age, Nationality, Marited status, Category (SC/ST/OBC/PH/Gen), Address for communication, Telephone No., Details of qualifications (High School onwards giving exam passed, year of passing, Name of Board/University, Subjects, Division with % of marks, Working experience and knowledge of software, any other additional information,
List of enclosures and Signature of Candidate with date.
7 Candidate may report in the Committee Room, NIH at 10.00 hours on 17th March, 2015 for Interview. After starting of Interview, admission in the same will not be allowed.
