RECRUITMENT FOR FILLING UP VACANCIES FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (39), ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (11) AND PROFESSOR (07) POSITIONS (Total: 57)
Applications are invited from Indian nationals possessing good academic background along with self-motivation to quality teaching and research for faculty positions at all levels for the following departments from all categories (General, SC, ST, OBC & PwD).
1. Foundry Technology

Teaching Positions: Engineering / Technology

Desirable: Ph.D. Degree; Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; Paper presented at Conference and / or in refereed journals |

| Associate Professor | A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology with a very good academic record throughout.
Desirable: Research Publications in reputed journals; Patent filed / obtained, books and or technical reports. Doctoral supervision and / or supervising Sponsored R&D projects. |
At least Eight years of teaching / research / industrial experience in the relevant field/related areas at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent, excluding the period spent for obtaining a PhDs degree.
Or In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg & Tech. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a PhD Degree in appropriate branch of Engg & Tech and industrial / professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor. |

industry experience in the relevant field/related areas out of which at least five years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent excluding the period spent for obtaining a Ph.D. Degree. Or In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg & Tech. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a PhD Degree in appropriate branch of Engg &Tech and industrial / professional experience of ten years out of which at least five years at a senior level equivalent to Associate Professor. |

Fees: A Demand Draft of Rs 500/-, drawn in favour of “NIFFT, Ranchi” payable at any nationalized bank in Ranchi for each application (50% in case of SC / ST & fully exempted for women & PwD candidates).
