Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following positions. The candidates selected shall be posted at Earth Station, Shadnagar Campus (65 KM from Hyderabad):

3 Scientist / Engineer ‘SC’ 1 M.Tech in Water Resources Engg./ Hydrology with B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engg. Knowledge in Remote Sensing, Hydrological modeling and Computer programming.
4 Scientist / Engineer ‘SD’ 1 Ph.D in Oceanography with M.Sc./ M.Tech/ MS in Oceanography (Physical) / Physics / Geophysics / Ocean Atmospheric Science & Technology Experience in Ocean Remote Sensing/ Ocean modeling, data analysis.

Post doctoral experience in relevant field.

5 Scientist / Engineer ‘SD’ 1 Ph.D in Marine Sciences or equivalent with M.Sc / M.Tech or equivalent in Marine Sciences / Oceanography or equivalent Knowledge in Ocean processes / Bio-geochemical modeling. Post doctoral experience in relevant field.
6 Scientist / Engineer ‘SD’ 1 Ph.D in Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology or equivalent with M.Sc / M.Tech or equivalent in Physics/Atmospheric Sciences / Meteorology / Climate Sciences. Knowledge in Satellite Data retrieval, assimilation and computer modeling.
Post doctoral experience in the relevant field.
7 Scientist / Engineer ‘SD’ 1 Ph.D in Atmospheric Sciences/ Atmospheric Chemistry or equivalent with M.Sc / M.Tech or equivalent in Physics/Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Sciences. Knowledge in satellite data retrieval, assimilation and computer modeling / Spectroscopy Demonstrated work at doctoral level in Atmospheric chemistry/ Air quality

Post doctoral experience in the relevant field.

Eligibility: M.Tech or equivalent Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks of all Semesters or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent with the pre-eligibility qualification of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) or equivalent should also be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks of all Semesters or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

M.Sc. or equivalent Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks of all Semesters or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale.

Age Limit:
Post No.1, 2 & 3 – 35 years as on 08.09.2014 (Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities[PWD] are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders).
Post No.4, 5, 6 & 7 – No age limit.

Candidates may visit our web-site at www.nrsc.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 19.08.2014 (1000 hrs) and 08.09.2014 (1700 hrs). Applications will be received online only. On registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line registration number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The applicant has to provide (mandatory) E¬mail ID for future correspondence/reference.
