Mumbai Port Authority Medical Department invites applications for engagement of Experienced Specialists / Superspecialists as Part-Time Visiting Consultants in Various Specialities at Mumbai Port Authority Hospital on per visit basis.
1. Details of 26 Specialists/ Super Specialists as Part Time Visiting Consultants to be engaged on Contract basis are as follows:

(i) Educational Qualification & visits etc.

3. Period of Engagement:
a) The initial period of engagement shall be 5 years, on the basis of performance review after every one year of engagement, for Continuation of the Part Time Visiting Consultant.
b) The appointment of Experienced Medical and Surgical Specialists/ Superspecialists will be on Part Time Basis.
4. Remuneration:
i) a) Visit Charges

b) Procedure/Surgery Charges

ii) If any Specialist is called on emergency basis apart from the routine visit, double the visit charges ’ will be paid. If they perform any procedure/Surgery on emergency basis, only procedure/surgery charges will be paid by double rate.
iii) The visit charges will be increase by 5% at the end of year on the basis of the Performance of Part Time Consultant taken by the Chief Medical based on the facilities utilised, patients attended/surgeries performed etc.
iv) The Part Time Visiting Consultants on Contractual basis engaged shall not be entitled to any kind of allowance e.g. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Transport Facility, Personal Staff, CGHS and Medical Reimbursement etc. Further they shall not entitled to any kind of Leave Accommodation, Medical Facilities in Mumbai Port Authority.
v) TA/DA: The Part Time Visiting Consultants shall not be entitled to any TA/DA.
vi) Tax Deduction at Source (TDS): TDS as admissible shall be deducted from the monthly remuneration of Part Time Visiting Consultant. A TDS certificate shall be issued by the Medical Department on demand.
5. Place of posting :
The place of posting will be in Mumbai Port Authority Hospital as per the directives of the CMO / Sr. Dy. CMC (Specialist) Respective Faculty.

(i) Downloading the application format (Annexure I) from website www.mumbaiport.gov.in (“People & Career/ Jobs/ Advertisements’ menu).
(ii) Filling the application format with the required details and declaration.
(iii) The filled-in application form along with required documents for determining eligibility is to be sent to the below mentioned address before the last date of application i.e. 12.03.2026 by superscribing on the envelope as “Application for engagement of Experienced Specialists/ Super specialists as Part time Visiting Consultants in (Name of the Speciality ) at Mumbai Port Authority Hospital on per Visit Basis”.
