MMRDA recruiting Transportation Planners and Statistician

MMRDA invites the applications from the candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria for following permanent posts

1. Sr. Transportation Planner 1 Post (Open)
Qualification:
1) Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or its equivalent or in planning AND
2) Post Graduate Degree in Transportation Planning or its equivalent.
Experience: 7 years experience in the field of Transportation Planning out of which at least 3 years must be as a Transportation Planner or its equivalent.
Age: Not more than 45 years (No age limit for MMRDA employees)
Pay Band: PB-III, 15600-39100 +Grade Pay 7600/-(As per 6th Pay Commission)

2. Transportation Planner: 4 Posts (1-SC, 1-ST, 1-VJNT, 1 Open)
Qualification:
1) Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from recognized University or its equivalent or in Planning AND
2) Post Graduate Degree in Transportation Planning or its equivalent.
Experience: 3 years experience in the field of Transportation Planning or related filed.
Age: Not more than 40 years (No age limit for MMRDA employees).
Pay Band: PB-III, 15600-39100 + Grade Pay 6600/-(As per 6th Pay Commission)

3. Deputy Transportation Planner: 7 Posts (1 –SC, 1 –ST, 1 –VJNT (A), 2-OBC, 2-Open)
Qualification :
1) Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University or equivalent or in Planning AND
2) Post Graduate Degree in Transportation Planning or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in Transportation Planning or related field will be preferred.
Age: Not more than 35 years. (No age limit for MMRDA employees)
Pay Band: PB-III, 15600-39100 +Grade Pay 5400/- (As per 6th Pay Commission)

4. Statistician: 3 Posts (1-SC, 1 ST, 1-Open)
Qualification:
1) Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics Additional qualification in system analysis/computer programming is preferable.
Experience: 3 years experience with Statistical Systems such as Census, Annual survey of industries, National sample survey and other similar systems. Should also have familiarity with use of computer in information storage and Retrieval.
Age: Not more than 35 years (No age limit for MMRDA employees).
Pay Band: PB-II, 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 5400/- (As per 6th Pay Commission)

Note:
1. The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply to Chief, Transport & Communications Division., 8′” Floor, MMRDA Office, Bandra-Kurla, Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400 051.
2. The Candidates are required to bring the Original Certificate and attested copies of certificates at the time of interview.
3. The candidate belonging to reserve categories should have valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority of Govt. of Maharashtra.
4. The Candidate should have passed MSCIT Exam.
5. Appointments for the posts advertised in this advertisement will be made as per the guidelines prescribed in MMRDA Rules & Regulation.
6. No. of posts and reservations are likely to be changed. All rights in respect of change, cancel or partial change, in total No. of posts, reservation, Parallel reservation are vested with Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA.
7. Relaxation in respect of Age / Experience will be considered in case of deserving candidates.
8. Applications having incomplete information will be disqualified.
9. Applicant should apply within 15 days from the date of issue of this advertisement.
