Jawaharlal Nehru University Recruitment of Hindi Translator, Wireman, and Cook

Applications are invited for the following posts in the Jawaharlal Nehru University as per detail given below:-

1. Hindi Translator – Group B- 01 Post (UR)- Pay Band-II Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay 4200/-
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree. Diploma/Certificate in Translation from a recognized Institution. Knowledge of Hindi typing desirable.

2. Wireman – Group C- 01 Post (ST)- Pay Band-I Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 2000/-
Qualification: Matriculation plus I.T.I. Trade Certificate in the Wireman/Electrician from the Govt. Institution/recognized Govt. Institution by AICTE/State Govt.

3. Cook -Group C- 06 Posts (UR-02, 0BC-01, ST-02*, PWD-HH-01*) -Pay Band -I Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 1900/-
Qualification: Matriculation/ITI and 5 Years Experience as Cook in any recognised University Mess/Educational Institute/ Restaurant/Hotel etc.

4. Office Attendant (MTS) -Group C- 04 Posts [SC-01, ST-01,0BC-01, PWD(HH)- 01] -Pay Band-I Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 1800/-
Qualification: Matriculation/ITI and 02 years experience in any recognized University/Educational Institution/Organisation

Upper Age Limit: 35 years. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD-HH categories as per rule, applicable from time to time.

Fee: An application fee of Rs. Rs. 300/- (non-refundable) is to be paid with the application in the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of “Finance Officer, JNU” payable at New Delhi. No fee is payable by the SC/ST & PWD candidates if they apply for the posts reserved for their own category.

The eligible and interested persons may apply in the format given below along with the prescribed fee (wherever applicable), one latest passport size photograph and attested copies of the certificate of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste & PH certificates etc. to Recruitment & Data Cell, Room No. 310, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067 within 30 days of the publication of this advertisement in the Employment News (Ref. Employment News dated 12th – 18th October 2013). The last date of receipt of applications is 11th November 2013. The post applied for must be clearly superscribed on the envelope containing the application. Applications received without proof of required experience certificate (duly attested) will be outrightly rejected without any intimation.
