The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited for the placement of Graduate / Technician/Ex-ITI Apprentices as follows under the Apprentice Act, 1961, Apprentice (Amendment) Act, 1973 & 1986 as amended from time to time as follows –

STIPEND for 1 & 2: Rs.4500/- p.m. and for 3 – 5500/-

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates having 60% in Degree / Diploma / ITI, who have passed their qualifying examination in the year 2013 and onwards and have not undergone apprenticeship training earlier.

AGE LIMIT: 25 years and relaxable as per Government rules.

PERIOD OF TRAINING: ONE YEAR

Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentice (Amendment) Act, 1961, 1973 & 1986 as amended from time to time. The Apprentice trainees will have no claim whatsoever for regular employment in this Institute after completion of training.
