IIT Hyderabad recruitment of Project Technicians and Electrician

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following positions on ad-hoc basis for a term of 11 months (can be extended for subsequent terms based on candidate’s performance) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The requisite qualification & experience, etc. are given below.

Position:
Project Technician (Machinist/Welder) – 01 post
Sr. Project Technician – 01 post.
Project Electrician – 01 post
In the following work areas.

Work Areas:
Project Technician (Machinist/Welder):
For Machinist – Knowledge of working on CNC machines is desirable.
For Welder – Knowledge of working on TIG/MIG is desirable

Sr. Project Technician
Knowledge of working on CNC Machines (Milling & Turning) is essential

Project Electrician:
Knowledge of electrical wiring and electrical maintenance of heavy duty manufacturing equipments.

Qualification& Experience:
Project Technician –
ITI Machinist/welder with 2 years related experience

Sr. Project Technician –
Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 2 years of experience or ITI Machinist/Turner with 3 years.

Project Electrician –
ITI Electrician with 5 years of experience in Installation of industrial machines and electrical maintenance with wire men certificate issued by state government.

Salary:
Project Technician – Rs. 7000 – 13500/- p.m + Accommodation*
Sr. Project Technician – Rs. 9000 – 16000/- p.m + Accommodation*
Project Electrician – Rs. 7000 – 13500/- p.m + Accommodation*
*(may be considered subject to availability)

Age Limit:
Below 35 years as on 01-03-2013 (for all above posts)
