Recruitment of Research Assistant, Trainee Analyst & Graduate Trainee Engineer

The Export Inspection Council of India (EIC), the official export Inspection and certification body established under Export (Quality Control & Inspection), Act 1963 by the Government of India, requires Research Assistant & Trainee analysts for its Export Inspection Agency (EIA), Laboratory, Pilot Test House, Mumbai. EIA intends to recruit Research Assistants (5 posts), Trainee analysts (5 posts) & Trainee Engineer (1 post) on contract basis to work in its Laboratory, Pilot Test House Laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025: 2005/NABL Accredited) initially for a period of Eleven months, which may be extended at the same terms and condition or curtailed as per the performance and requirement of the work. The appointee would be hired on fixed consolidated monthly remuneration basis and will not confer any right or privilege on the appointee for regular appointment in EIC/EIAs.

Selection Procedure:

• The eligible candidate will be called for personal interview and on the basis of their performance in the interview, the selection would be made.
• No TA/DA would be provided to the candidates for attending the interview.

Research Assistants

Educational Qualifications	M.Sc/B.Sc in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Bio Analytical Science / Biochemistry / Biotechnology/Biosciences.
Experience	M.Sc (with 1 Year experience)/B.Sc (with two year experience) in laboratory testing, experience in sample extraction / analysis of residues in fish and other food products/analysis of wet chemistry/ analysis of Microbiology.
Age limit	(as on 20/02/2014) not more than 30 years.
Salary	Rs.15,000 pm (consolidated)
Period of contract	Eleven months liable to the extended.

Trainee analysts

Educational Qualifications	M.Sc/B.Sc in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Bio Analytical Science / Biochemistry / Biotechnology/Bio-sciences.
Experience	M.Sc (Fresher) / B.Sc (with 1-2 year experience) in laboratory testing, experience in sample extraction / analysis of residues in fish and other food products/analysis of wet chemistry/ analysis of Microbiology.
Age limit	(as on 20/02/2014) not more than 30 years.
Salary	Rs.12,000 pm (consolidated)
Period of contract	Eleven months liable to the extended.

Graduate Trainee Engineer

Educational Qualifications	B.Tech. / BE in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation
Experience	1 year experience in electrical testing (household appliances/maintenance of lab. Equipments)
Age limit	(as on 20/02/2014) not more than 30 years.
Salary	Rs.13,000 pm (consolidated)
Period of contract	Eleven months liable to the extended.
