ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR CLERKS 2013 OF JAJPUR DISTRICT

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Junior Clerks for the district and sub-ordinate offices of Jajpur district under Revenue Administration on regular basis in the pay band PB-1 i.e Rs.5200-20,200/- +G.P Rs.1900/- per month.. The application should reach to the Collector & District Magistrate, Jajpur on or before 08.08.2013 at 5 P.M by Regd. Post/Speed Post only. The successful candidates should produce the required documents in original at the time of the appointment. Incomplete, defective applications received in other mode and after due date shall not be taken into consideration and liable for rejection. The date and place of examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates whose applications are found to be in order and complete in all respects through internet & postal correspondence. Inclusion in the merit list confers no right to appointment.

NB: Reservation of Physically Handicapped/ex-service man & Sport person will be followed as per Govt. General & Administration Deptt., Odisha, Bhubaneswar letter No.25384/Gendt.20.09.2005 at the time of selection.

Eligibility of candidates:
Eligibility of the candidates to apply for the post
a) be a citizen of India.
b) be a permanent residence of Jajpur District and should have registered his/her name in any Employment Exchange in this District/Special Employment Exchange, Odisha, Bhubaneswar on or before the date of submission of application.
c) have passed the Matriculation or equivalent Examination;
d) be not less than 18 years and not more than 32 years of age on the 01.01.2013 The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in cases of SEBC/Women candidates and 10 years for physically handicapped candidates and in case of Ex-servicemen, the rules vide Govt.in G.A Department, Odisha. Bhubaneswar Notification no.22586/Gen.dtd.l6.10.1985 will be strictly followed.
e) be of good character;
f) be of sound health, good physique and active habits;
g) be able to speak, read and write Odia and have
I. passed M.E School Examination with Odia as language subject, or
II. passed the Matriculation or equivalent Examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subject; or
III. passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above, or
IV. Passed a test in Odia in M.E. School standard conducted by the Education Department
h) have not more than one spouse living or in the case of lady candidates have not married a person who has a wife living;

Application Form: Candidates must apply in the prescribed application form also available in the District Website http://jajpur.nic.in.

Examination Fee: Candidates are required to deposit Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred) only through Bank Draft in favour of the Nizarat Officer, Collectorate, Jajpur payable at State Bank of India, Jajpur Town Branch, Jajpur.

Reservation: Candidates claiming reservation under any category as per para- 2(N.B) above should furnish relevant certificates issued by the Competent Authority in support of their claim.
