BSF will hold an All India Examination for recruitment to the various posts of Motor TransportWorkshop Cadre in BSF for the year-2014.
Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment of following Technical posts (Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ Combatised) for Motor Transport Workshop Cadre in the Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The post is temporary but likely to become permanent.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
1. SUB-INSPECTOR (TECHNICAL) (Group-B Post) – Minimum three years’ Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Government.
2. CONSTABLE(TECHNICAL)(Group C Post)
(i) Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent; and
(a) Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade;
or
(b) Three years’ work experience in respective trade.
AGE LIMIT:
1. SI(Technical): 20 to 25 years as on 14th July 2014.
2. CT(Technical) 18 to 25 years as 14th July 2014.

HOW TO APPLY: Application duly filled up in the given format may be sent to any one of the addresses given in the notification nearest to the candidate within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the employment news. Two self attested recent passport size photographs should be attached to the application Form. One each photograph to be affixed on the application form and admit card and third one to be kept in record. Two self-addressed envelopes of size of 25 x 12 cms with postal stamp worth Rs. 27/- each should also be attached with the application form. The envelope containing application must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB INSPECTOR (TECHNICAL) / CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL) IN BSF FOR MOTOR TRANSPORT WORKSHOP CADRE-2014″
Fee: Rupees Fifty only (Rs. 50/-) Fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.
