NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for filling up of the vacancies (Including backlog vacancies) of Junior Lineman on regular basis in the following Operation Circles of APEPDCL O&M Service.

The desirous eligible male candidates may apply by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of this recruitment on or before 01.04.2014.

These vacancies are subject to variation at the time of recruitment based on the necessity.

The candidates can apply for the available vacancies IN ANY ONE OF THE CIRCLES IN APEPDCL, and their candidature shall be considered for the vacancies existing in that Circle only as per Rule of Reservation and Presidential Order.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. AGE: Age not below 18 years and not above 35 years as on 01.07.2013. Relaxation in upper age limit permissible upto 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates. For in- service contract workers, working in AP Transco/Discoms, the age at the time of entry into the organization as contract worker will be considered. Note: The age of the candidates who have already applied in pursuance of earlier notification shall be considered as on 22.12.2011.

2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: SSLC/SSC/10th Class with ITI qualification in Electrical Trade/Wireman trade or intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/Board.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: The candidates have to appear for the following tests:
a) Meter Reading
b) Cycling
c) Pole climbing

Scale of Pay: Rs. 8760-170-9270-250-10520-325-12145-400-14145

Probation: The candidates appointed to the post shall be placed on Probation for a period of 2 years.
